Abstract:Diplomsko delo zajema numerično analizo robnika vrat. Podjetje Gorenje želi zaradi namena pocenitev obstoječi material robnika vrat, ABS (Akrilonitril butadien stiren), zamenjati z materialom PS (polistiren). V ta namen se je s pomočjo metode končnih elementov lociralo najbolj obremenjene dele robnika. Cilj naloge je prikazati največje napetosti in pomike ter primerjati razliko med materialoma glede na trdnost in vzdržljivost robnika vrat. V diplomskem delu sta zajeta postopka izvedbe numeričnih simulacij robnikov, čemur sledi analiza in primerjava rezultatov simulacij.

Title:Replacing the refrigerator door kerb using FEM analysis
Abstract:The thesis covers the numerical analysis of door kerb. In order to reduce the cost of the existing ABS material used for the kerb, Gorenje wants to replace it with PS material. For this purpose, the most stressed parts of the kerb have been located using the finite element method. The aim of the task is to show the maximum stresses and displacements and to compare the difference between the materials in terms of strenght and durability of the door kerb. The thesis covers the procedures for carrying out numerical simulations of kerbs, followed by an analysis and comparison of the simulation results.
