Abstract:Železove zlitine so zaradi visoke uporabnosti prevladujoč proizvodni izdelek po vsem svetu, saj jih najdemo v vseh gospodarskih panogah.

Title:Determination of the content of alloying elements in iron alloys
Abstract:Iron alloys are the most notable products worldwide due to their versatility, as they can be used in every kind of production. In the past years, they have been used more commonly since they offer many advantages and sustainability, but in the past, their usage was limited due to the initial costs. These can be lowered by using mass balance to calculate the quanity of the added element to achieveve an alloy of desired structure. This allows us to conduct fewer laboratory analyses, consequently lowering time and cost. Repetitive calculations can be conducted through Excel and Force, the latter using the Fortran programming language. The purpose of this thesis is to specify the mass balance using a mathematic model to calculate specific added elements to carbon and alloy steel using computer software. This demands the supposition that the mass-balance-based calculation of addition of added elements into the iron alloy is precise, as this allows for a cheaper and more accurate production.
