Metode: Z namenom priprave zaključnega dela smo pregledali, analizirali in sintetizirali znanstveno literaturo. Zastavljeni iskalni niz smo skupaj z vključitvenimi in izključitvenimi kriteriji uporabili v naslednjih mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah: Pubmed, Science Direct, Web of Science ter CINAHL. Razprava in sklep: Osebe z migreno še vedno stigmatizirajo, predvsem delodajalci in sodelavci.

Title:Influence of migraine on daily activites in adults
Abstract:Introduction: Migraine is a medical condition that involves severe, recurring headaches and other symptoms. The purpose of the final work is to investigate the impact of migraine on the daily activities of adults with migraine. Methods: To prepare the final paper, we reviewed, analysed and synthesised the scientific literature. The search string with the inclusion and exclusion criteria was used to search the data in the following international databases: PubMed, Science Direct, Web of Science and CINAHL. We used the hierarchy of evidence to assess the strength of the evidence and performed a critical assessment of the included studies. Results: We included 8 articles in the literature analysis. We found that migraine has a strong impact on everyday activities, as well as on social contacts, the individual as a whole and economic status. Discussion and conclusion: Unfortunately, people with migraine are still stigmatised, especially by their employers and colleagues. They often receive misunderstandings and accusations so they use their illness as an excuse. At this point, a considerable number of unsolved questions arise, especially in terms of experiencing migraine through the eyes of the sufferer and the perception of family, friends and colleagues. The topic is insufficiently researched. It is necessary to be aware of this disease's seriousness and familiarise them with the correct attitude towards sufferers.
