Title:Sušenje delcev v bobnastem sušilniku : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Sušenje poroznih delcev je zahteven tehnični postopek, ki ga lahko razdelimo v več stopenj. Pri sušenju pride najprej do izločanja površinske vlage, nato pa sušimo notranjost delca. Kinetika sušenja je odvisna od prenosa toplote in snovi ter fizikalnih lastnosti. V diplomskem delu je bila analizirana kinetika sušenja na osnovi numeričnega modela za sušeči se delec pri razpršilnem sušenju in za delec v sloju v bobnastem sušilniku. Pri tem smo spreminjali velikost delca, njegovo poroznost in temperaturo sušilnega plina ter naredili primerjavo. Rezultati so prikazani na grafih, kjer smo ugotovili, da na kinetiko sušenja najbolj vpliva temperatura sušilnega plina in nižja poroznost delca.

Title:Drying of particles in drum dryer
Abstract:Drying of porous particles is a demanding technical procedure that can be divided into several stages. During drying, first the surface moisture is eliminated, and then the inside of the particle is dried. The kinetics of drying depends on the transfer of heat and substances as well as the physical properties. In the thesis, the drying kinetics was analysed based on a numerical model for a drying particle in spray drying and a particle in a layer in a drum dryer. We were changing the size of the particle, its porosity and the temperature of the drying gas and made a comparison. The results are shown in the graphs: we came to the conclusion that the drying kinetics is mostly influenced by the temperature of the drying gas and the lower porosity of the particle.
