Abstract:
Diplomska naloga opisuje različne modele življenjskega cikla razvoja programske opreme. Naloga je razdeljena na teoretični in praktični del. V teoretičnem delu so opisane splošne lastnosti posameznih modelov. Predstavljene so njihove glavne značilnosti, prednosti in slabosti. Za posamezen model je opisano, pod kakšnimi pogoji je njegova uporaba najprimernejša. V sklopu praktičnega dela je bila pripravljena anketa, ki se navezuje na uporabo modelov v programski industriji. Narejeni sta bili predstavitev in diskusija pridobljenih odgovorov.

Title:
Software development life cycle models in the software industry
Abstract:
This thesis describes different models of software development life cycle. It consists of theoretical and practical part. Firstly, the models are described in general. The pros and cons are listed for each model. Additionally, the characteristics of the projects, which are the most suitable for the considered model are described. The questionary has been prepared in the practical part. The questions regard the usage of software development life cycle models in the software industry. The obtained answers were analyzed and presented.
