Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava delo detektivov in mednarodno sodelovanje. V Sloveniji detektivske storitve uporabljajo predvsem pravne osebe. Kljub nizki odstotni vrednosti mednarodnega sodelovanja z detektivi – so izkušnje pozitivne. Bistvenih razlik v detektivski dejavnosti med državami ni.

Title:Detectives work and international cooperation
Abstract:The bachelor`s degree deals with the work of detectives and international cooperation. Three hypotheses are set at the beginning of this work. These relate to the demand for detective services, the development of detective activities and the effectiveness of international cooperation, which we will ultimately discard or confirm with arguments. Detective activity in Slovenia is regulated by the Private Detective Services Act, which entered into force in 2011. It sets out the conditions, entitlements and obligations of individuals carrying out this activity. A detective is a person who collects information for the client and establishes individual facts. Detectives usually check sick leave eligibility, check the client's future business partners, etc. Every now and then they encounter a case which has an international dimension. But then they use their connections and acquaintances with foreign colleagues from various international associations. Associations enables networking to their members, new acquaintances that can lead to greater information exchange, and good working practices. In addition other benefits, goals and visions offered by these associations have also been identified. For the empirical part of this Bachelors`s degree work, interviews with four detectives were conducted. The interviews established that the development of detective work in Slovenia in terms of legislation, is one of the leading in EU. In Slovenia, detective services are used mainly by legal entities. Despite the low percentage of international cooperation with detectives - the experience is positive. There are no significant differences in detective work between countries.
