Abstract:Aplikacije za virtualna srečanja so platforme, ki ljudem omogočajo komunikacijo na daljavo v obliki avdiovizualnih konferenc. Z njimi lahko ostanejo povezani s službenimi ali izobraževalnimi skupinami, delijo in upravljajo z dokumenti ter imajo možnost klepeta. V diplomskem delu opredelimo pojem aplikacij za virtualna srečanja, predstavimo njihove funkcionalnosti in primerjamo prednosti in slabosti. Med opisom varnostnega vidika omenimo najbolj znane napade, ki jih lahko ogrožajo, ter varnostne mehanizme, s katerimi aplikacije ščitijo podatke svojih uporabnikov. Osrednji predmet diplomske naloge je anketna raziskava, s katero ugotavljamo uporabniški pomen varnosti aplikacij za virtualna srečanja. Raziskava je potrdila, da so na ta pomen vplivali zadovoljstvo z varnostnimi funkcijami, ozaveščenost o ranljivostih, seznanjenost z možnimi kibernetskimi napadi ter zaščitniški odnos organizacije ali podjetja uporabnika. Dodatna primerjava odgovorov na vprašanja o konkretnih primerih dveh aplikacij za virtualne sestanke nam je pokazala, da so njihovi uporabniki enako zadovoljni v večini varnostnih segmentov.

Title:Security aspects of virtual meeting applications
Abstract:Virtual meeting applications are platforms that allow people to communicate remotely in the form of audiovisual conferences. Through their use they can stay connected to work or education groups, share and manage a document and have the ability to chat. In this paper we define the concept of applications for virtual meetings, present their functionalities and compare their advantages and disadvantages. When describing the security aspect, we mention the most well-known attacks that threaten them and the security mechanisms by which they protect the data of their users. The central subject of the thesis is a survey research, which determines the user importance of application security for virtual meetings. Satisfaction with security features, awareness of vulnerabilities, awareness of possible cyber attacks and the protective attitude of the user's organization or company have confirmed its importance through research. An additional comparison of the answers to the questions on concrete cases of the two applications for virtual meetings showed us that their users are equally satisfied in most security segments.
