Abstract:Logistika projektnega tovora zahteva izredne rešitve, saj bo povzročila nestandardne težave. Transport projektnega tovora velja za eno najzahtevnejših oblik transporta. Govorimo o tovoru, ki presega zakonske omejitve zaradi svoj izrednih dimenzij, tež, kompleksnejših oblik in visokih vrednosti. V segmentu projektnega tovora so izjemno visoka tveganja in vložki. S pomočjo metode delfi in anketnega vprašalnika smo pridobili mnenja strokovnjakov (konsenz) o vplivnih dejavnikih transporta projektnega tovora na območju balkanske regije.

Title:Project logistics in the balkan region: influential factors of transporting project cargo
Abstract:Project cargo logistics requires exceptional solutions because it will generate non-standard problems. Transporting project cargo is considered to be one of the most demanding forms of transport. It’s because project cargo exceeds the legal limits of transport due to its extraordinary dimensions, weights, complex shapes, and high values. Globally, this is a relatively small share of total cargo flow by volume. Risks and contributions are extremely high in this segment, due to the complexity of operation, but at the same time there is still a lot of unexplored research in this area. With this master's thesis we want to lay the foundations and the basis for understanding the complexity of project logistics. We will do so on region-based area more exact on countries located in the Balkan Peninsula. The aim of this research is to identify the influential factors of transporting project cargo, show what challenges experts involved in this field are facing and to identify opportunities for further development. We managed to achieve it with the help of experts who have been actively involved in this business and work in the region for many years. The most appropriate method for obtaining expert opinions was the Delphi method. Both the Delphi method and the concept of logistics derive from the military world. With the help of the Delphi method and questionnaire, we obtained expert opinions (consensus) about the influential factors of project cargo transport in the Balkan region. This segment is characterized with longer delivery times and greater exposure to influencing factors. Most of these factors can have a strong impact on the end result of a project. It is crucial that factors are identified, anticipated, and take actions to minimize the risk and with minimal deviations achieve the final goal.
