Abstract:Začetno opismenjevanje poteka v prvem triletju osnovne šole. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili namen in metodologijo naše raziskave. V praktičnem delu smo predstavili potek učnih srečanj v kronološkem zaporedju. V opisih srečanj smo sproti beležili komentarje in naša opažanja.

Title:Monitoring the progress of 3rd grade students in reading and writing
Abstract:Initial literacy education takes place in the first triad of primary school. The success of a student in the first school years depends mainly on the development of graphomotor skills and sensory functions. The goal of modern reading lessons is the ability of each individual to read fluently, to understand the content read and to be able to use the information obtained when solving problems in life. Developed vocal awareness skills have a significant impact on the entire course of an individual's reading and writing development. In the theoretical part of the master's thesis we introduced communication activities which are a part of contemporary reading lessons, we presented literacy education in the first triad of primary school as well as researched the theoretical content of reading and writing in detail. In the empirical part we presented the purpose and methodology of our research. In the practical part we presented the course of learning meetings in chronological order. We kept track of comments and our observations in the descriptions of the meetings.   Learning sessions, despite the short time interval, turned out to be generally conducive to student progress. We found out how important early detection of problems is, how significantly a well-developed vocal awareness affects reading and writing and how important is the intrinsic motivation in the learning process.
