Abstract:Konvencionalno pridelovanje zelenjave poteka ob velikih vnosih dušika in pogosto pomeni obremenitev za okolje.

Title:Soil Nmin Dynsmics Influenced by Soil Management in Organic Cabbage Production
Abstract:Conventional vegetable production takes place at high nitrogen intakes and often places a burden on the environment. In organic production, nitrogen input is limited, the dynamics of release from the soil depends on weather conditions, which limits the height of the crop. The field experiment monitored the dynamics of mineral nitrogen (N-min) in nitrate and ammonia form before transplanting cabbage in spring 2016, during the growing season, autumn after harvest and the following spring 2017 in different soil care methods: cover crops (incarnate and winter barley ) rolled with a plant cover roller, shallow plowed cover crops, control without cover crops and without foil, and control with foil. N-min samples were taken from three depths up to 0.9 m. The results of the analyzes showed that before planting cabbage, most of the nitrogen was available on the plots where the incarnate grew and was cultivated. Also, in the growing season, the highest values of N-min were on plots with incarnate, but there were no statistically significant differences between plowed and rolled. This was followed by plots where barley was grown, which was plowed. On average, all treatments in the autumn had statistically significantly higher N-min values after plowing compared to the rolling of cover crops (43.6 and 29.3 kg/ha, respectively). Over the winter, in most cases, the amount of N-min decreased. In the spring of the following year, the highest value of N-min was on plots where barley was grown, which was plowed. Cover crops positively affect the amount of available nitrogen in the soil and had more minor losses over the winter, where they were lowest on rolled plots with cover crops.
