Metode: Uporabili smo sistematični pregled, analizo in sintezo literature. Pregledali smo znanstveno in strokovno literaturo in naredili analizo pridobljenih virov v obliki tabele.

Title:Influence of animal-assisted therapy on pain in children
Abstract:Introduction: Animal-assisted therapy is a form of therapy that involves the use of animals as fundamental parts of a person's treatment and is a goal-oriented therapeutic intervention. The aim is to investigate how animal-assisted therapy affects the level of pain in children. Methods: We used a systematic review, analysis and synthesis of the literature. We reviewed the scientific and professional literature and made an analysis of the obtained sources in the form of a table. A critical analysis of the identified hits and a thematic analysis were performed. Results: A total of 172 results were found, after removing duplicates, read titles and summaries we got a total of 9 articles that we read. In the diploma work we included 6 articles, which contained the topic of the impact of animal-assisted therapy on pain in children. The authors were found to cite pain reduction in children as well as other positive effects. Discussion and conclusion: Animal therapy has a positive effect on children - in addition to reducing the feeling of pain, it offers them comfort, joy, reduces fear and anxiety, children are less stressed, and the level of depression is reduced.
