Title:Vloga staršev pri vključevanju otrok v plavalni tečaj : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vloga staršev pri vključevanju otrok v plavalni tečaj je bilo zastavljeno z namenom ugotoviti in raziskati, kakšno vlogo imajo starši pri vključevanju otrok v plavalni tečaj. Cilj diplomskega dela je s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika staršev ugotoviti, zakaj je po njihovem mnenju pomembno plavanje, kakšne cilje imajo glede plavanja in ali poznajo učinke plavanja na otrokovo telo. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljeno, kaj je plavanje in njegov pomen z različnih vidikov ter pomen plavanja na človeški organizem. Predstavljeno je tudi plavanje v učnem načrtu vrtcev, športnem programu Mali sonček in plavalnem tečaju. Na koncu teoretičnega dela je opredeljenih nekaj raziskav, ki se nanašajo na temo diplomske naloge, torej na vlogo staršev pri vključevanju otrok v plavalni tečaj. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati in interpretacija rezultatov izvedenega anonimnega anketnega vprašalnika. Uporabili smo neslučajnostni vzorec konkretne populacije staršev otrok iz različnih enot vrtca iz določenega kraja. Pridobljene podatke smo obdelali s pomočjo deskriptivne statistike in regresijske analize. Raziskava je pokazala, da dobijo starši največ informacij o plavalnih tečajih s strani vzgojitelja in da v goriški regiji po mnenju staršev nimamo velike ponudbe za plavalne tečaje. Na vključitev otroka v plavalni tečaj vpliva oddaljenost kraja, kjer se izvajajo plavalni tečaji. Ugotovili smo, da znanje plavanja staršev vpliva na vključitev v plavalni tečaj, medtem ko neznanje plavanja staršev ne vpliva na vključitev otrok v plavalni tečaj. Poznavanje koristnih vplivov plavanja na otroka prav tako vpliva na vključitev v plavalni tečaj. Preko raziskave smo spoznali najpomembnejše cilje in razloge staršev za vključitev otroka v plavalni tečaj. Raziskava je pokazala, da je vključitev otroka v plavalni tečaj odvisna od njegove starosti in da stopnja izobrazbe staršev ne vpliva na vključitev v plavalni tečaj. Spoznali smo še, zakaj je po mnenju staršev plavanje pomembno.

Title:The role of parents in enrolling children in a swimming course
Abstract:The theme of the thesis was set in order to determine and explore the role of parents in enrolling children in a swimming course. With the help of a questionnaire, the aim of the thesis is to find out why parents think swimming is important, what their swimming goals are and whether they know the effects of swimming on the child's body. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part presents what swimming is, its importance from different aspects and its importance on the human body. Swimming in the kindergarten curriculum, the Little Sun sports programme and the swimming course are also presented. Some research which relates to the topic of the thesis and the role of parents in enrolling children in swimming courses is defined at the end of the theoretical part. The empirical part presents the results of the conducted anonymous questionnaire and their interpretation. A non-random sample of a population of parents of children from different kindergarten units from a particular place was used. The obtained data were processed with the help of descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The research showed that parents get the most information about swimming courses from the educator and that according to parents, we do not have a large offer for swimming courses in the Goriška region. Enrolling a child in a swimming course depends on distance of the place where the swimming courses are held. It was concluded that swimming skills of parents influence enrolling children in a swimming course, while parental lack of swimming skills does not affect it. Knowing the beneficial effects of swimming on a child affects enrolling children in a swimming course. Through the research, the most important goals and parents` reasons for enrolling children in swimming courses were recognized. The study has shown that enrolling a child in a swimming course depends on his or her age and that the level of parents` education does not affect it. The research also revealed why, according to parents, swimming is important.
