Title:Kompetence zaposlenih v prodaji proučevanega telekomunikacijskega podjetja

Abstract:V gospodarstvu, ki temelji na znanju, je uspeh organizacij odvisen predvsem od kakovosti njihovih človeških virov. Organizacije se zanašajo na svoje usposobljene zaposlene kot na glavni vir. Danes je zaradi hitrih sprememb pridobivanje kompetentnih zaposlenih postalo del strategije večine organizacij. S pomočjo kompetenčnega modela lahko organizacija jasno in objektivno oceni izraženost določenih kompetenc posameznika, ter tako tudi načrtuje, kaj je še potrebno, da posameznik kompetence razvije in s tem tudi napreduje. Z diplomskim delom smo želeli preveriti ključno vprašanje, ali je obstoječi model kompetenc, ki ga proučevano telekomunikacijsko podjetje uporablja, učinkovit. S pregledom literature in z raziskavo smo najprej ugotovili, kaj so prednosti modela kompetenc, ki ga proučevano podjetje uporablja, nato pa smo na podlagi tega pregledali, kje so možnosti za izboljšave in kaj bi bila dodana vrednost, če obstoječi model kompetenc dopolnimo. Predvsem pa smo ugotovili, da zaposleni stremijo k poglobljenemu pogovoru s kompetentnimi osebami in želijo povratne informacije za svoj nadaljnji napredek.

Title:Employee competences in the sales department of a select telecommunications company
Abstract:In a knowledge – based economy, organization performance primarily depends on the quality of their human resources. Qualified staff are the main resource of any organization. In a rapidly changing world, attracting qualified and competent workers has become part of their strategy for most organizations. Using the competence model, organizations cas assess individuals in a clear and objective manner, determine their competences and outline the steps required to upgrade those competences and enable the staff to develop further. The thesis aims to examine the key question: Does the existing competence model used by a telecommunications company work? Based on an examination of the available literature and an empirical study, the thesis first identifies the advantages of the model. Next, it analyzes potential improvements to the model and their gains. Overall, the study found that the staff strive to engage in more in-depth discussions with the responsible persons, expecting feedback allowing them to develop further.
