Abstract:Zdravstveni delavci spadajo v skupino z največjim tveganjem za razvoj sindroma izgorelosti.

Title:Burnout of health care workers in nursing home during the covid-19 epidemic
Abstract:Healthcare professionals are among the group most at risk for developing burnout syndrome. The purpose of the study was to determine whether the burnout rate among health care workers in a social care institution was influenced by the COVID-19 epidemic. The study, conducted in 2021, was based on a quantitative research method. The Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) was used as a research method to measure burnout at the level of exhaustion. 178 health care workers at home care institution participated in the study. Research findings show that personal experience, workload, and work with users increase the risk of burnout among health care workers in a social care institution, especially in situations where the workload of health care workers, is extremely high.
