Abstract:	Diplomsko delo se nanaša na Policijsko upravo Maribor, na njihovo komunikacijo ter na namembnost objekta na Marčičevi ulici 1, nekdanje Hutterjeve vile, prostor, kjer deluje tudi policijska uprava. V nalogi so predstavljeni komunikacija, načini komuniciranja policijske uprave, odnosi z javnostmi, zgodovina policije, delovanje policijske uprave in zgodovina ter namembnost Hutterjeve vile. Iz analize komunikacije Policijske uprave smo ugotovili, da se večina komunikacije z javnostmi izvaja preko družbenih medijev, ki so del vsakdanjika predstavnikov za odnose z javnostmi, saj na ta način ustvarjajo pomembna sporočila za javnosti. Opravili smo tudi pregled vrednot, ki jih Policijska uprava pri njihovi komunikaciji izraža, določene so namreč enake vrednote, ne glede na način komunikacije, nekatere pa se razlikujejo ravno zaradi izbranega načina komunikacije z javnosti in zaradi vrste javnosti, ki jo z določenim načinom komunikacije dosegajo.

Title:	Communication Values of the Police Directorate Maribor and the Importance of Josip Hutter's Villa
Abstract:	The diploma thesis refers to the Police Directorate Maribor, their communication and the purpose of the building on Marčičeva ulica 1, the former Hutter's villa, a place where the Police Directorate also operates. The thesis presents communication, ways of communication of the Police Directorate, public relations, history of the Police, operation of the Police administration and the history and purpose of Hutter's villa. From the analysis of the communication of the Police Directorate, we found that most communication with the public is carried out through social media, which are part of the everyday work of public relations representatives, as in this way they create important messages for the public. We also reviewed the values that the Police Directorate expresses in their communication, mostly that they are the same, regardless of the method of communication, and that some differ precisely because of the chosen method of communication with the public and the type of public they appeal to with a certain method of communication.
