Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali premik kontingenta Slovenske vojske na mednarodno operacijo in misijo eFP – enhanced Forward Presence v Latvijo.

Title:Movement of slovenian contingent on international operation and mission eFP Latvia
Abstract:The diploma thesis discusses movement of the Slovenian contingent to an international operation and mission eFP (enhanced Forward Presence) in Latvia. In the first part of the thesis (theoretical basis), we define military logistics, available transport modalities, movement, and the concept of planning, organizing and comprising movement variants, as well as ensuring the necessary transport capacities. We also present the importance of host country's support. In the second part of this diploma paper existing situation is discussed; we define the responsibility for planning and executing the strategic movement of Slovenian Armed Forces. We present the move to an international operation and the mission eFP in Latvia, as well as the aircraft transport capabilities that Slovenian Armed Forces has. We also present the documentation required to perform a movement. An interview was conducted with a member of an operational planning level. Based on the review of the current situation, we have performed a critical analysis in which we defined the challenges and problems faced by Slovenian Armed Forces during the process of movement. In the third chapter, we provide the solutions to the identified challenges and problems, as well as an overview of movement in the case of railway transportation. Finally, we have reviewed the conditions for the implementation of the proposed solutions and the possibilities for further development.
