Abstract:Diplomska naloga predstavlja uporabo digitalnih »novih« medijev pri predšolskih otrocih in kakšni so vplivi na otroke. Prikazali smo, kakšnim tveganjem in nevarnostim so otroci izpostavljeni in kakšni so ukrepi za odgovorno uporabo digitalnih medijev v sedanji dobi.

Title:The impact of digital media on preschool children - risk and opportunities druring digitalization
Abstract:This thesis presents the use of digital "new" media by pre-school children and how it affects them. It also identifies the extent to which parents themselves are aware of the impact of digital media on their children and how they themselves facilitate, influence and implement methods related to the use of digital media. We have shown what risks and dangers children are exposed to and what measures can be taken to use digital media responsibly in the current era. In the first part, we presented the basic concepts that arise in this context, using online resources and literature. We have described in more detail the most common risks and how to identify them. We used a questionnaire to find out how much children actually use new digital media, to what extent they are exposed to them and how aware parents are of the dangers and risks. Based on the survey and the study of sources, we list measures for safer use, responsible use and monitoring of children's use, which are aimed at parents, as parents are almost entirely the ones who enable and are responsible for their children's use of new digital media.
