Abstract:Posledice današnjega načina življenja se vse bolj odražajo v številnih okoljskih problemih, s katerimi se vsakodnevno soočamo. V zaključku dela podajamo nekaj predlogov, kako študente spodbuditi k pogostejšemu nakupu »zelenih« izdelkov, da bodo z uporabo tovrstnih izdelkov pripomogli k varovanju okolja.

Title:Recognition of the environmental sign ecolabel among students
Abstract:The consequences of today's lifestyle are increasingly reflected in many environmental problems that we face every day. At the same time, manufacturers and traders constantly try to ensure us that their products and services have no negative environmental impacts. The final work in the theoretical part addresses the concept of green consumerism and examines environmental signs for products and services. The practical part instead focuses on the survey in which we were asking students whether they are aware of the importance of their consumer habits and decisions on the environment. We have found that students are aware that their purchases have an impact on the environment. Most of them only rarely shop for environmentally friendly products, as the biggest obstacle before purchasing environmentally friendly products define a higher price, poor quality compared to other products and insufficient awareness of the benefits of Environmentally friendly products and services. The final work concludes with some suggestions on how to encourage students to purchase "green" products with which they will contribute to protecting the environment.
