Abstract:V diplomskem delu so obravnavani dejavniki agregatnega izvoza v izbranih evropskih gospodarstvih s pomočjo literature in ekonometrične analize. Pri državah smo se omejili na Hrvaško, Slovaško in Slovenijo in za njih ustvarili izvozne funkcije na osnovi ekonomske teorije, predhodnih obstoječih študij in opisanih morebitnih dejavnikov agregatnega izvoza. Analiza obsega četrtletne podatke v obdobju od leta 2000 do leta 2019. Pri Hrvaški smo oblikovali dvojno logaritemsko izvozno funkcijo s tremi pojasnjevalnimi spremenljivkami: RBDP_EU27 (realni BDP Evropske unije 27 držav članic), IND_C (industrijska proizvodnja) in REER (realni efektivni devizni tečaj). Pri Slovaški in Sloveniji pa smo oblikovali linearno izvozno funkcijo, le da sta pri Slovaški le dve spremenljivki, in sicer RBDP_EU27 (realni BDP Evropske unije 27 držav članic) in IND_C (industrijska proizvodnja), pri Sloveniji pa smo namesto RBDP_EU27 uporabili RBPD_NHIA (realni BDP štirih največjih trgovinskih partneric Nemčije, Hrvaške, Italije in Avstrije). S pomočjo računalniškega programa EViews 11 smo nato izbrane funkcije ocenili, pojasnili parcialne regresijske koeficiente, osnovne statistike in testirali ustreznost specifikacije. Nato smo preverili še veljavnost predpostavk metode najmanjših kvadratov (normalno porazdelitev slučajne spremenljivke, neprisotnost multikolinearnosti, homoskedastičnost in neprisotnost avtokorelacije). V sklepu diplomskega dela so strnjene ugotovitve in primerjave izvoznih funkcij Hrvaške, Slovaške in Slovenije.

Title:Determinants of aggregate exports in selected European economies
Abstract:By drawing on the relevant literature as well as the econometric analysis of the selected European economies, the thesis aims to examine the factors of aggregate export. In terms of the examined countries, our analysis included Croatia, Slovakia, and Slovenia. The export functions were thereon formed in accordance with the theory of economics, the pre-existing studies, and the described liable factors of the aggregate export. This analysis includes the quarterly data for the period between the years 2000 and 2019. In the case of Croatia, we have formulated a double logarithmic export function with three explanatory variables: RGDP_EU27 (the real GDP of 27 members of the European Union), IND_C (Industrial production) and REER (real effective exchange rate). In the case of Slovakia and Slovenia, we have formulated linear export function, but in the case of Slovakia there are only two explanatory variables: RGDP_EU27 (the real GDP of 27 members of the European Union) and IND_C (Industrial production), while in the case of Slovenia we have used: RGDP_NHIA (the real GDP of its four largest partner markets: Germany, Croatia, Italy, and Austria), IND_C (Industrial production) and REER (real effective exchange rate). With the aid of the computer program EViews 11, we thereon evaluated the chosen functions; clarified the partial regression coefficient as well as the basic statistics; and tested the adequacy of the specification while also assessing the validity of ordinary least-squares method assumptions (the normal redistribution of random variables, the absence of multicollinearity, homoscedasticity, and the absence of autocorrelation). The findings and comparisons of the Croatian, Slovakian, and Slovenian export functions are summed up in the conclusion of this thesis.
