Abstract:V diplomskem delu je opisan postopek razvoja nosilnega sklopa za deskanje nad vodno gladino. Predstavljen je princip delovanja, konstruiranje posameznih sestavnih delov sklopa na podlagi zahtev in numerična trdnostna analiza po metodi končnih elementov trupa s pomočjo sodobnih inženirskih orodij. Prikazan je postopek izdelave 3D modelov kril in jambora s pomočjo uvožene geometrije profila, ki je sestavljena iz oblaka točk in določa prečni prerez krila in jambora po celotnem razponu. Trdnostna analiza trupa obsega določitev obremenitev in podpor, izbiro ustrezne gostote računske mreže in preverjanje ustreznosti izbranega materiala na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov.

Title:Design and numerical strength analysis of load-bearing assembly for hydrofoil surfing
Abstract:This diploma thesis describes the process of developing a load-bearing assembly used for hydrofoil surfing. Working principles of operation of a hydrofoil, design of individual components based on requirements and numerical strength analysis by finite element method of the fuselage are presented. The process of creating 3D models of wings and mast using imported profile geometry, consisting of a cloud of points which determines the cross section over the entire span, is shown. The strength analysis of the fuselage includes defining the loads and supports, selection of the most appropriate mesh density and determining the suitability of the selected material based on the obtained results.
