V prvem poglavju teoretičnega dela magistrske naloge smo predstavili opredelitve in delitve nasilja v družini, kakšne so njegove posledice ter preučili zakonsko podlago. Raziskavo smo izvedli v obliki polstrukturiranih intervjujev s petimi predstavniki osnovnih šol, petimi predstavniki centrov za socialno delo in petimi predstavniki policije. Intervjuje smo izvedli v petih različnih slovenskih regijah.

Title:Primary schools' coperation with centres for social work and the police in the event of domestic violence
Abstract:In the master's thesis, we researched the field of cooperation between Slovenian primary schools and centres for social work and the police when it comes to dealing with domestic violence. In the first chapter of the theoretical part of the master's thesis, we presented the definitions and divisions of domestic violence, what are its consequences and examined the legal basis. We also collected the data of statistic. In the empirical part of the thesis, we explored the willingness of primary schools, centres for social work and the police to cooperate when domestic violence is perceived. The survey was conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with five representatives of primary schools, five representatives of social work centres and five representatives of the police. We conducted interviews in five different Slovenian regions. The results indicate that the cooperation of primary schools and centres for social work in cooperation with the police is at a very high level, while the participants estimate that the cooperation with primary schools and centres for social work is not as good. The vast majority of participants believe that changes in the functioning of the other two institutions are necessary, while no one is pointing out the shortcomings of their own. The vast majority of the participating representatives of the centres for social work and the police consider the existing legislation to be appropriate, while the representatives of the schools perceive the legal regulation as deficient. Based on the results of the task, we emphasize the importance of the willingness of all three institutions to cooperate, where the education of professional staff also plays an important role.
Keywords:domestic violence, cooperation, primary schools, centres for social work and the police.
