Abstract:V okviru magistrskega dela smo z uporabo programa Finale Notepad, izvedli glasbene delavnice na daljavo. S študijo smo želeli proučiti napredek učenke tekom delavnic z vidika usvajanja programa Finale Notepad, način dela in vsebino aktivnosti petošolke, ter podrobneje preučiti učenkine izdelke z vidika ustvarjalnosti. Slednje smo podrobneje analizirali s pomočjo ocenjevalnega lista.

Title:A case study of using Finale Notepad program in distance learning
Abstract:The following thesis explores the usage of Final Notepad for a music workshop in the context of distance learning. For the latter, the Microsoft Teams application was used. The participant in this case study was a musically talented fifth-grader who participates in a musical education program by playing the flute. The study observes the student’s progress within the music workshop by using Finale Notepad, her learning strategies, activities, and learning results reflecting her creativity. The research includes six distance learning workshops, and student’s homeschool activities. The latter were evaluated using the assessment sheet for analyzing the video content, work in progress, and the final product. During the process of distance learning, the student was introduced to the MS Teams application and the Finale Notepad program, which serves for making the note sheets. Following our instructions, she was able to write two songs with the help of the Finale Notepad program, which demonstrates that our workshop content was appropriate for the musically talented fifth-grader. During our workshop, she managed to use the Final Notepad independently to write songs with melody and rhythm, and a variety of musical motifs, which were appropriately transformed and repetitive. The case study implies that the Finale Notepad program and our music workshop prototype are adequate and appropriate for distance learning with musically talented students.
