Abstract:V poljskem mikroposkusu (2008, Mihovci pri Veliki Nedelji) so bili s hibridom sončnice 'PR64A63' (Helianthus annuus L.) proučevani vplivi različnih rokov setve in stopnje zapleveljenosti na rast, razvoj in pridelek sončnic. Proučevan je bil vpliv različnih rokov in načinov razpleveljanja na merjene parametre (K rok ̶ razpleveljeno vso rastno dobo, Z rok ̶ zapleveljeno vso rastno dobo, Z1 rok ̶ razpleveljeno 6 tednov 50 % parcelice v primerjavi s kontrolnim K rokom, A rok ̶ razpleveljeno 3 tedne, B rok ̶ razpleveljeno 6 tednov).

Title:The effects of different sowing dates and weed control on the growth, development and yield in sunflowers (helianthus annuus l.)
Abstract:In field trial (2008, Mihovci pri Veliki Nedelji) with the hybrid 'PR64A63' (Helianthus annuus L.) the effects of different sowing dates and weed control on the growth, development and yield in sunflowers were studied. The effects of different dates and weed control (K date ̶ weed control all growing season, Z date ̶ no weed control all growing season, Z1 date ̶ weed control 6 weeks 50% of the plot compared to K ̶ date, A–date weed control 3 weeks and B ̶ date weed control 6 weeks) on measured parameters, were researched. The weed control is crucial, especially in the early stages of development, when sunflowers have not yet covered the ground. In this way we can achieve the optimal height of the plants. The highest average yield in the 2nd sowing date (May 15) was 2,4 t ha־¹, followed by the 1st sowing date (April 15) 2,2 t ha־¹, the lowest yield was in the 3rd sowing date (June 15) 1,7 ha־¹. The obtained results showed that delays of sowing date signiflicantly reduced grain yield.
