Abstract:Veliko ljudi se v sodobnem svetu srečuje s stanovanjsko problematiko.

Title:Cohabitation on social housing
Abstract:Large numbers of people are facing housing problems in the modern world. The most vulnerable groups are young people and young families with low incomes and the need to move away from their parents, and elderly people who most often remain isolated and deserted by society. Housing issues are rising as countries are fairly unsuccessful in implementing an adequate housing policy. New trends indicate that these two groups at risk are often combined in so-called cooperatives that facilitate access to housing, especially from a financial point of view, and at the same time offer a community in which the people are more interconnected. In the master's thesis, we researched the possibilities and implementations of housing complexes and units that enable multigenerational living and are adaptable to contemporary living habits. In variant studies in the project part, we designed a residential complex in a selected area in Maribor. The complex includes housing units that are adaptable for young people, young families and the elderly, and which enable cohousing with their architectural design.
