Title:Stres in izgorelost na delovnem mestu uslužbenca policije in uslužbencev upravnih enot : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Stres in še posebej izgorelost sta sodobna pojava, ki sta postala zelo pomembna zdravstvena tema ter tudi pogosti diagnozi, zaradi katerih vse več ljudi uveljavlja bolniško odsotnost z delovnega mesta. Namen magistrskega dela je bil raziskati pojav stresa in izgorelosti, določiti vzroke, zaradi katerih se pojavita, opisati simptome, ki jih posamezniki ob tem kažejo, in določiti pojavnost ter posledice, ki nastanejo. Zato je bil naš cilj analizirati razlike v stopnji stresa in izgorelosti na delovnem mestu javnega uslužbenca policije in javnih uslužbencev upravnih enot, primerjati stališča med eno in drugo skupino ter poizkušati ugotoviti, kateri izmed njih so bolj izpostavljeni dejavnikom, ki jih preučujemo. Pristopa k preučevanju teme sta bila teoretični in empirični. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili poglavja o stresu in izgorelosti na delovnem mestu, v empiričnem delu pa smo podrobneje predstavili raziskavo, ki smo jo izvedli s pomočjo prej pripravljenega anketnega vprašalnika. Raziskava je bila opravljena z namenom, da bi opozorili na vse večji problem izpostavljenosti uslužbencev stresu in izgorevanju, ki vse pogosteje vplivata na zaposlene po celem svetu. Zastavili smo si štiri raziskovalna vprašanja in hipoteze na podlagi katerih smo preučili obravnavano tematiko. Rezultati analize odgovorov iz anketnega vprašalnika so pokazali, da stres in izgorelost ne izbirata in lahko prizadeneta vsakega uslužbenca ne glede na njegov spol, starost in delovno dobo. Ugotovili smo, da so anketiranci obeh preučevanih skupin primerljivo izpostavljeni stresu in da njihova najpogostejša dimenzija izgorelosti ni neposredno povezana z delom na splošno. Na podlagi rezultatov raziskave lahko povzamemo, da je potrebno pri vsaki izmed proučevanih skupin sprejeti določene ukrepe, h katerim se mora delodajalec ciljno usmeriti. V zaključku predstavnikom delodajalca predlagamo, da ob sodelovanju s skupino uslužbencev ali s posameznikom poišče načine, s pomočjo katerih bodo uspeli učinkovito zmanjšati stres in/ali izgorelost zaposlenih.

Title:Job-Related stress and burnout among employees in the police and employees of the government office
Abstract:Stress and especially burnout are modern phenomenon that became very important health topic as well as frequent diagnosis, which is why more and more people are claiming sick leave from work. The purpose of the master’s thesis was to investigate the occurrence of stress and burnout, to describe the symptoms that individuals show, to determine the frequency of occurrence and consequences. Therefore, our aim was to analyze the differences in the level of stress and burnout in the workplace among the employees of the police and the employees of the government office, to compare the views between one group and another and try to determine which of them are more exposed to the factors we are studying. Approaches to the study were theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part we presented chapters on stress and burnout in the workplace, in the empirical part we presented a detailed research that we conducted with the help of a previously prepared survey questionnaire. The research was conducted to highlight the growing problem of employee exposure to stress and burnout, which is increasingly affecting employees all over the world. We set ourselves four research questions and hypotheses on the basis of which we studied the discussed topic. The results of the analysis of the answers from the survey questionnaire showed that stress and burnout are not a choice and can affect any employee regardless of their gender, age and length of employment. We found that respondents of both study groups were comparatively exposed to stress and their most common dimension of burnout is not directly related to work in general. Based on the results of the research, we can conclude that in each of the studied groups it is necessary to take certain measures to which the employer must target. In conclusion we suggested that the employer’s representatives, in cooperation with a group of employees or an individual, look for ways to effectively reduce the stress and/or burnout of the employees
