Abstract:Z izboljšanjem tehnologije so se skozi leta razvili različni načini odstranjevanja in obdelave odpadkov. Danes je recikliranje najboljša metoda obdelave, ki omogoča ponovno uporabo odpadnih snovi. Vendar vseh odpadkov ni mogoče reciklirati, zato se pogosto sežigajo ali sosežigajo, s čimer se ustvarjata električna energija in toplota. V pričujočem delu so predstavljene tehnologije sežiga in sosežiga, njihove pozitivne in negativne strani ter primerjava dejanskih podatkov o emisijah dimnih plinov, trdnih ostankih, ki nastanejo kot rezultat sežiga in sosežiga ter ekonomski vpogled v postopek in infrastrukturo obrata. V delu so predstavljene tudi količine energije, ki seporabi oz. proizvede med postopkom sežiga.

Title:Comparison of incineration and co-incineration in the technological, economic and ecological sense
Abstract:With the advancement of technology, different methods of waste management and treatment have evolved over the years. Today, recycling is considered to be the best treatment method, which allows reuse of waste material. However, not all waste can be recycled, so it is often incinerated or co-incinerated, creating electricity and heat. This master's thesis presents incineration and co-incineration technologies, their positive and negative sides, and a comparison of actual data on flue gas emissions, solid residue that occurs as a result of incineration and co-incineration and economic insight into the process and infrastructure of the plant. In this master's thesis is also present the amounts of energy consumed and produced during the incineration process.
