Fiziološko zreli plodovi so bili umeščeni v osem vizualno določenih barvnih skupin (rdeči, roza, oranžni, beli, zeleni, rumeni, modri in črni). Izmerili smo jim velikost, maso, čvrstost in parametre barve (L*, a* in b*) ter s hitrimi laboratorijskimi testi vsebnost C-vitamina, suhe snovi in titracijskih kislin. Parametra vsebnost suhe snovi in C-vitamina nista v čvrsti korelaciji (rS = 0,304).

Title:Analytical Properties of Certain Heirloom Tomato Varieties
Abstract:Heirloom varieties are commercially less interesting varieties of tomatoes, but they are gaining in importance as they are well adapted to local growing conditions and more diverse in terms of characteristics. 40 tomato cultivars were analysed, of which 38 were heirloom varieties and two were hybrids. Physiologically ripe fruits were categorised in eight visually defined colour groups (red, pink, orange, white, green, yellow, blue and black) and their size, weight, firmness, and colour parameters (L*, a* in b*) were measured. Further analytical measurements were also performed via rapid laboratory tests for vitamin C content, soluble solids and titratable acids. The cultivars differed in colour parameters, shape and size, soluble solids content and titratable acids, while they did not differ in vitamin C content. Among red-fruited cultivars, ‘Ded Moroz’ had the highest vitamin C content (49.9 mg/100 g), the vitamin content in both hybrid cultivars 'Cherrola F1' (29.0 mg/100 g) and 'Mondial F1' (21.7 mg/100 g) was equal to the content in other heirloom varieties (19.7–32.3 mg/100 g). The parameters of soluble solids content and vitamin C were not in strong correlation (rS = 0.304).
