Abstract:Nalezljive bolezni so od nekdaj zaznamovale življenja ljudi in njihove navade. V drugem delu smo izvedli raziskavo z anketiranjem zaposlenih.

Title:Preventive measures and measures in case of infectious diseases onset within the workplace
Abstract:Contagious diseases have shaped the lives and habits of people through the ages. In our modern times and in some areas, we have forgotten the importance of taking preventive measures and what steps are necessary when a contagious disease breaks out. We have forgotten what a huge impact on the economy and people these things can have. With the COVID -19 outbreak, it seems that many companies were not prepared and did not have the necessary protocols in place on how to address this risk. With this masters thesis, we wanted to investigate whether companies in Slovenia implement preventive measures to curb the spread of the disease, what approaches they take in case of an outbreak, and how employees perceive the measures taken. In the first part of the research, we created and sent out a questionnaire. The questionnaire was created using the website 1ka.si and distributed through email and several social networks. We have set our hypothesis and after completing the questionnaire we sorted the data, which we either accepted or refuted using statistical tests. Statistical analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS program. With the help of our study, we found that preventive measures were in place in the companies that were legally required to do so. After the pandemic was declared, the preventive measures were established in the majority of the companies. The aforementioned companies mostly adhered to the measures established by the government. On average, employees agreed with the preventive measures and adhered to them. In the future, it would be prudent for companies to better prepare for situations such as infectious disease outbreaks, as we have witnessed how great the impact on work can be, so it would be reasonable to prioritize employee health in companies.
