Abstract:Magistrsko delo obravnava BIM pristop od projektanta do izvajalca na primeru zahtevnega inženirskega objekta Viadukta Pesnica.

Title:Usability of the BIM approach from designer to contractor with Allplan and Bexel Manager software in the example of the Pesnica viaduct
Abstract:In this master's thesis, we discuss the BIM approach from designer to contractor in the example of the Pesnica Viaduct, which was quite demanding from an engineering viewpoint. The usability of the BIM approach on the project is analysed with the Allplan software for the designer and with the Bexel Manager for the contractor. In the scope of the thesis, we presented the theoretical fundamentals required for understanding the BIM approach based on existing literature. To show the use of the BIM approach in the design phase (i.e. creating and preparing a detailed 3D BIM model with the Allplan software), we present the options and limitations for updating the model with steel for prestressing and with steel for reinforcing. The Allplan software and the Bexel Manager software was used for the 3D BIM model to check for collisions as well as creating approximate quantities. To implement the complete BIM approach for managing the construction project for the contractor, we offer options and limitations for creating 4D and 5D BIM models by using the Bexel Manager software.
