Title:Vloga digitalne kompetence za učitelje in pedagoge

Abstract:Magistrsko delo obravnava področje digitalne kompetentnosti. V teoretičnem delu so na osnovi pregleda različnih terminoloških definicij predstavljene glavne značilnosti digitalne kompetence, s poudarkom na področju šolstva. Predstavljena je delitev digitalne kompetence, njen razvoj, kako se jo ocenjuje in preverja, katero stopnjo znanja morata imeti pedagog in učitelj ter kakšna je podpora šole pri uvajanju informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije v izobraževalni sistem. Dotaknili smo se primerjave uporabe informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije v šolstvu v drugih državah. In preverili smo, ali se digitalna kompetenca študentov na podiplomski stopnji študija izboljša. V empiričnem delu smo raziskovali digitalno kompetentnost pri študentih podiplomskega študija pedagogike. Interpretirali smo rezultate, ki smo jih pridobili s spletno anketo. Evropski kompetenčni okvir za razvijanje in razumevanje digitalne kompetence DIGICOMP 2.1 opredeljuje ključne komponente digitalne kompetence, s pomočjo katerega smo ugotavljali znanje študentov. Želeli smo izvedeti, kakšno mnenje imajo o predmetu Informacijska podpora didaktičnim strategijam, ter pridobiti njihovo povratno informacijo o pridobivanju novih kompetenc. V sklepu so povzete glavne ugotovitve magistrske naloge, kjer izpostavljamo ključno ugotovitev, in sicer, da ima digitalna kompetenca v šolstvu veliko vlogo. Potrebno ji je posvečati pozornost in pedagoški kader ustrezno spodbujati k optimalnemu razvoju njihovih potencialov.

Title:The role of digital competence for teachers and pedagogues
Abstract:The thesis discusses the field of digital competence. In the theoretical part we overviewed the terminological definitions of digital competence to present the main characteristics, with emphasis on its connection with education. We presented the “categorization” of digital competence, its development, how it is graded and tested, what level of knowledge do a pedagogue and teacher need to possess, and the school ‘s support in the introduction of information and communications technology into the educational system. We compared the usage of information communications technology in education in other countries. We also researched if students improve their knowledge on digital competence at a master’s degree level. In the empirical part we researched how digitally competent students at the master’s degree of pedagogy are. We interpreted the results that we acquired through a web survey. The European digital competence framework for developing and understanding digital competence DIGICOMP 2.1 defines key components of digital competence, which helped us asses the level of knowledge of students. We wanted to find out their opinion about the school subject Didactics strategies information support, but also obtain their feedback on gaining new competences. In the conclusion we summarized the main findings of our thesis, where we focus on a key finding, namely that digital competence has a prominent role in education. A lot of attention needs to be drawn to it and pedagogical personnel needs to be appropriately stimulated towards the finest optimal development of their potential.
