Abstract:Zgodnja obravnava spodbuja otrokovo zdravje, razvijanje sposobnosti, zmanjšuje razvojne zaostanke in spodbuja vlogo staršev pri vzgojno-izobraževalnih ciljih otroka. V raziskavi so sodelovali vzgojitelji predšolskih otrok – pomočniki vzgojiteljev, vzgojitelji predšolskih otrok in starši iz Vrtca Anice Černejeve, Vrtca Mavrica Vojnik, Vrtca Otona Župančiča Slovenska Bistrica in Vrtca Slovenske Konjice.

Title:Educator's and parents' views toward the early treatment of children
Abstract:Early treatment encourages child's health, skill development, it reduces developmental delays and encourages the role of parents in child’s upbringing - educational goals. It has a significant impact on the orientation of children with special needs, as it provides further easier work according to their needs. It lasts from birth till the entry of children into primary school. The aim of the master's thesis was to explore point of views of early treatment of preschool educators, their assistants and parents whose children are involved in the early treatment process. We wanted to explore the differences according to the person and age of the interviewees. In the research participated preschool teachers, assistant educators and parents from kindergartens Anica Černejeva, Mavrica Vojnik and Oton Zupančič kindergarten Slovenska Bistrica and kindergarten Slovenske Konjice. We were interested in the attitudes of parents, preschool teachers, assistant educators to early treatment, the knowledge of parents and professional workers in the field of early treatment and if parents, preschool teachers and assistant educators have different views on the early treatment. We were interested in differences in attitudes toward early treatment according to person and age. A person is a variable, which tells us if the interviewee in the relationship to the child is his or her preschool teacher, assistant educator or his parent. The data gained with the survey were later statistically processed with computer program, called SPSS, which is used in static data processing. The following analytical data processing were used: frequency distribution of variables, basic descriptive statistics and Kruskal – Wallis H test. The results warn us that there are statistically significant differences in attitudes toward early treatment among preschool teachers, assistant educators and parents. Parents are not provided with additional education about early treatment to the same extent as preschool teachers and assistant educators. Statistically significant differences according to age were found in gaining of knowledge with the help of professional literature and in the statement regarding the respectful relationship between professionals and parents.
