Abstract:V današnji tehnološko napredni družbi je uspešen prenos podatkov eden najpomembnejših logističnih procesov. Zagotavlja ga informatika, ki se ukvarja z zbiranjem, s procesiranjem, shranjevanjem in posredovanjem prejetih informacij. Del informacijskega procesa so tudi bančne transakcije, ki morajo v skladu z zakonodajo izpolnjevati pogoje zaupnosti, točnosti, preverljivosti in neoporečnosti. Komitenti si želijo poceni in enostavne transakcije, ki bodo izvedene v najkrajšem možnem času. Banke danes svojim komitentom že ponujajo številne bančne produkte, ki težijo k racionalizaciji transakcij in odpravi gotovinskega poslovanja. V letu 2008 pa je Satoshi Nakamoto predstavil svetu prvo kripto valuto, ki temelji na tehnologiji veriženja blokov. Skozi zadnje desetletje se tako številna podjetja in združenja ukvarjajo s preučevanjem tehnologije in njenimi izboljšavami, saj se je tehnologija izkazala za izredno učinkovit pripomoček v različnih segmentih. To diplomsko delo se osredotoča predvsem na priložnosti bančnega sektorja, kjer bi uvedba tehnologije Blockchain v poslovanje prinesla ugodne rešitve na strani potrošnika in tudi na strani bank.

Title:The importance of cashless operations in the banking logistics system
Abstract:In nowaday's technologically advanced society, successful data transfer is one of the most important logistic processes. It is provided by informatics, which deals with the collection, processing, storage and transmission of received information. There are banking transactions which must comply with the requirements of confidentiality, accuracy, verifiability and integrity in accordance with the law, that are also part of the information process. Users want cheap and easy transactions that will be completed in the shortest possible time. Banks are already offering numerous banking products, that seek to streamline transactions and eliminate cash operations. In 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto introduced the world's first cryptocurrency, based on blockchain technology. Over the last decade, many companies and associations have been studying this technology and improving it, as technology has proven to be an extremely effective tool in various segments. This thesis focuses primarly on the opportunities fort he banking sector, where the introduction of Blockchain technology would bring favorable solution for both, the consumer and the bank.
