Title:Uporaba nekaterih fenotipskih lastnosti plodov pri razločevanju slovenskih lokalnih ringlojev

Abstract:Vzorčenje plodov 68 akcesij ringlojev iz genske banke FKBV je potekalo poleti leta 2018. Na vsakem drevesu je bilo pobranih 10 zrelih plodov, katerim so bili določeni naslednji fenotipski deskriptorji: velikost, oblika ploda, simetrija ploda, globina šiva (brazde) blizu mesta, kjer je plod spojen s pecljem, depresija na vrhu ploda, dlakavost, vdolbina pri peclju, osnovna barva kože (eksokarpa), barva mesa (mezokarpa), čvrstost mesa, sočnost, stopnja spojenosti koščice in mezokarpa, oblika koščice z lateralne strani, oblika koščice z ventralne strani, izraženost grebena koščice, tekstura mezokarpa, širina na dnu in oblika vrha koščice. Uporabljeni so bili deskriptorji po UPOV-u, z nekaj modifikacijami. Namen raziskave je ovrednotiti fenotipsko raznolikost proučevanih akcesij. Večina plodov je imela širino med 2 in 3 cm (majhni plodovi), pri osnovni barvi kože (eksokarpa) in barvi mesa (mezokarpa) je prevladovala rumena barva, povprečna oblika koščice z lateralne strani je bila eliptična, prevladovala je zaobljena oblika vrha koščice in v večini primerov je bil greben slabo izražen, glede izraženosti šiva pa je prevladovala slaba izraženost. V raziskavi smo ugotovili, da je bila med proučevanimi akcesijami sorazmerno velika fenotipska raznolikost, toda ne v vseh proučevanih lastnostih. Pri nekaterih parametrih so bile izražene večje, pri drugih pa manjše razlike med akcesijami.

Title:The Use of Phenotypical Fruit Traits for the differentiation of Slovenian Local  Greengages
Abstract:Fruit sampling of 68 greengage accessions from the gene bank of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences of the University of Maribor, Slovenia, took place in mid- summer 2018. On each tree, 10 ripe fruits were harvested, for which the following phenotypic descriptors were determined: size, shape and symmetry of fruit, depth of the furrow (seam) near the place where fruit is connected to the stalk, depression at the top of the fruit, hairiness, basic skin (exocarp) colour, flesh (mesocarp) colour, flesh firmness, juiciness, degree of adherence of stone to flesh, lateral side stone shape, ventral side stone shape, suture expression, mesocarp texture, bottom width, and pit top shape. UPOV descriptors were used, with some modifications. The aim of the study was to evaluate the phenotypic diversity of the studied accessions. The width of most of fruits was between 2 and 3 cm (small fruits), the dominating basic colour of the skin (exocarp) and the flesh (mesocarp) was yellow, the average shape of the stone on the lateral side was elliptical, while the top of the stone was, in most cases, rounded. The keel of the stone was poorly expressed. It was found that there was a relatively high phenotypic diversity among the studied accessions, but not in all studied traits. For some parameters, larger bigger differences were documented, while others exhibited smaller differences among accessions.
