Abstract:V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni koncepti sočasnega in porazdeljenega računanja v programskem jeziku Elixir. Praktična implementacija prikazuje uporabo omenjenih konceptov na primeru borze za vrednostne papirje ali kriptovalute. Sistem je sestavljen iz dveh aplikacij, prva služi kot jedro sistema za obdelavo naročil, medtem ko druga predstavlja spletno aplikacijo, implementirano z ogrodjem Phoenix. Aplikaciji skupaj sestavljata razširljiv porazdeljen sistem.

Title:Concurrency in programming language Elixir
Abstract:The diploma thesis describes concepts of parallel and distributed computing in programming language Elixir. Practical implementation applies aforementioned concepts to build a computer system for securities and cryptocurrency exchange that consists of two applications. First is the core that processes submitted orders while the second is a web application implemented using the Phoenix framework. Together, the applications form a scalable distributed system.
