Abstract:Zaposlitev predstavlja ključen del našega življenja.

Title:Differences between generations in experiencing work satisfaction
Abstract:Employment is a key part of our lives. Shortly after completing education, employment follows. Doing work is essential for human biological and social existence. Through our employment, we take care of our personal development, and at the same time we contribute to the formation of society and culture. Over the years, our view on work and dependence on it is changing. In the early years, we care more for our financial stability and independence, and later we put emphasis on good relationships and working climate. The master's thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, we defined the basic concepts related to employment, work, human life periods, generations and work environment. In the empirical part, we conducted a survey through an online survey, regarding the experience of job satisfaction and the difference between the generations. The data were analyzed with the help of the SPSS program, and based on the obtained results, we found that through the aging process, priorities and motivation at work change; that in our early years the material form of motivation is more important to us, later more immaterial; what influences the factors of satisfaction and that the factors of employee loyalty and job satisfaction are connected. In the thesis discussion, proposals are made to contribute to a better organizational climate and greater employee satisfaction.
