Abstract:V okviru diplomske naloge smo v prvi fazi raziskav po modificirani metodi sintetizirali mezoporozni kislinski katalizator. Prvotno je bila načrtovana podrobna karakterizacija sintetiziranega katalizatorja po različnih metodah, kar zaradi epidemioloških razmer in časovnih omejitev ni bilo možno izvesti. Katalizator smo sintetizirali na osnovi cetil trimetil amonijevega bromida (CTAB), natrijevega hidroksida, tetraetil ortosilikata (TEOS), (3-trimetoksi)-1-propanetiola (MPTMS) in vode. Učinkovitost njegovega delovanja smo preverili z reakcijo esterifikacije miristinske kisline z etanolom, ki smo jo izvajali v šaržnem reaktorju. Nastali produkt smo analizirali na plinskem kromatografu s plamenskim ionizacijskim detektorjem (GC-FID). Z namenom izračuna presnove miristinske kisline v metil miristat smo pripravili umeritveno krivuljo. Določili smo 53,3 % presnovo reakcije. Področje karakterizacije katalizatorjev smo raziskali s podrobnim pregledom literature in teoretične ugotovitve vključili v poglavje »Materiali in metode dela«.

Title:Synthesis and characterization of mesoporous acid catalysts
Abstract:As part of the diploma thesis, a mesoporous acid catalyst was synthesized in the first phase of research using a modified method. Initially, a detailed characterization of the synthesized catalyst by different methods was planned, which was not possible due to epidemiological conditions and time constraints. The catalyst was synthesized on the basis of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB), sodium hydroxide, tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), (3-trimethoxy) -1-propanethiol (MPTMS) and water. The efficiency of its action was verified by the reaction of esterification of myristic acid with ethanol, which was carried out in a batch reactor. The resulting product was analyzed on a gas chromatograph with a flame ionization detector (GC-FID). In order to calculate the metabolism of myristic acid to methyl myristate, a calibration curve was prepared. We determined 53.3% metabolism of the reaction. The field of catalyst characterization was investigated with a detailed review of the literature and theoretical findings were included in the chapter »Materiali in metode dela«.
