Abstract:Kibernetski prostor je elektronski in navidezni prostor ter nepogrešljiv del komunikacije, ki ima velik vpliv na naša življenja in je vanje v zadnjih desetletjih prinesel korenite spremembe. Ima ogromno prednosti, saj omogoča hitro obdelavo in izmenjavo informacij, prisotne pa so tudi slabosti. Ena od teh je zasvojenost in ta, da v kibernetskem prostoru nismo anonimni. Spraševali smo se ali otroci sploh poznajo in se zavedajo groženj, ki vsakodnevno pretijo pri njihovi uporabi kibernetskega prostora. Otroci uporabljajo predvsem naprave, ki so prenosljive (pametni telefoni in tablice) in jim omogočajo večjo dostopnost do kibernetskega prostora ter manjši nadzor s strani staršev. Otroci z uporabo kibernetskega prostora postanejo mobilni, socialni, izobraženi, tam najdejo izvor zabave, raziskujejo svojo identiteto in spoznavajo nove prijatelje. Zraven pozitivnih stvari pridejo tudi negativne. Med grožnje v kibernetskem prostoru štejemo več oblik kibernetskega nasilja, spam, okužbe, vdor, kraja identitete, phishing in spletne goljufije. Z raziskavo smo ugotavljali ali otroci poznajo in se zavedajo groženj, ki vsakodnevno pretijo pri njihovi uporabi kibernetskega prostora. Na anketni vprašalnik je odgovorilo 87 otrok iz Šaleške doline. Ugotovili smo, da se otroci zavedajo groženj, ki pretijo nanje v kibernetskem prostoru, vendar se pogosto nanje ne odzivajo. Ugotavljamo, da otroci uporabljajo zaščitne mehanizme pri uporabi kibernetskega prostora, vendar še vedno 17 % otrok ne ve, da obstajajo antivirusni programi. Otroci imajo v večini svoj lasten računalnik, preko katerega dostopajo do kibernetskega prostora. Pripravili in predstavili smo smiselne predloge za varnejšo uporabo kibernetskega prostora, s katerimi bodo otroci varneje uporabljali kibernetski prostor in hkrati zmanjšali zlorabe v kibernetskem prostoru. Podajamo nov raziskovalni predlog, da bi določili približno mejo, pri katerih dejavnostih in časovnih okvirih so otroci v kibernetskem prostoru dejansko varni, hkrati pa izvesti eksperiment, ki bi vključeval izobraževanje iz ozaveščanja kibernetske varnosti. To bi omogočilo primerjavo vedenja na internetu pred in po izobraževanju, z namenom zvišanja varnosti otrok pri uporabi kibernetskega prostora.

Title:Use of cyberspace among kids from 10 to 15 years
Abstract:Cyberspace is an electronic and virtual space and an indispensable part of communication that has a great impact on our lives and has brought radical changes to them in recent decades. It has a lot of advantages, as it enables fast processing and exchange of information. However, the disadvantages are also present. One of these is also an addiction and the fact that we are not anonymous in cyberspace. We were wondering whether the children even know and are aware of the threats that threaten their daily use of cyberspace. Children use mostly devices that are portable (smartphones and tablets) and enable them greater access to cyberspace and less parental control. Using cyberspace, children become mobile, social, and educated. They find their source of entertainment there, explore their identities, and make new friends. Negative and positive things come hand-in-hand. We classify threats in cyberspace as several forms of cybernetic violence, spam, viruses, intrusion, identity theft, phishing, and online fraud. The research was used to determine whether children know and are aware of the threats that threaten their daily use of cyberspace. 87 children from the Šalek Valley filled in the survey questionnaire. We ascertained that children are aware of the threats that threaten them in cyberspace but often do not respond to them. We ascertained that children use protective mechanisms when using cyberspace. However, 17 % of children are still unaware that antivirus programs exist. Children mostly have their computer through which they access cyberspace. We prepared and presented sensible proposals for safer use of cyberspace by which children will use cyberspace more safely and at the same time, they will reduce abuses in cyberspace. A new research proposal is stated in order to determine the approximate safety limit of the children in cyberspace and at which activities and time frames they are actually safe. At the same time, an experiment that includes training in cyber security awareness would be conducted, which would enable us the comparison between the Internet behavior before and after training in order to increase the safety of children during the cyberspace use.
