Title:Ekonometrična analiza zaposlitvene funkcije Belgije in Slovaške

Abstract:Zaposlenost je v današnjem času vse bolj pomembna makroekonomska komponenta v gospodarstvu, saj spremembe v njem močno vplivajo na gospodarsko aktivnost v posamezni državi. Bolj kot se gospodarstvo razvija, višja je stopnja zaposlenosti. Na začetku dela diplomskega projekta smo na kratko opisali značilnosti trga dela v Belgiji in na Slovaškem. Nato smo s pomočjo zbranih podatkov z metodo najmanjših kvadratov za obe državi ocenili linearno funkcijo, dvojno logaritemsko funkcijo in funkcijo z odloženo odvisno spremenljivko. Na podlagi primerjave rezultatov analize determinacijskih koeficientov, Box-Cox testa, RESET-testa in Chow testa smo izbrali funkcijo, ki je najprimernejša za nadaljnjo analizo. Na podlagi izvedenih testov smo ugotovili, da je za obe državi najprimernejša linearna funkcija z odloženo odvisno spremenljivko. Na koncu dela diplomskega projekta smo za obe državi preverili veljavnost predpostavk metode najmanjših kvadratov: normalne porazdelitve, multikolinearnosti, heteroskedastičnosti in avtokorelacije. Pri analizi smo ugotovili, da je v obeh državah prisotna multikolinearnost in homoskedastičnost. Pri nadaljnji analizi smo nato ugotovili, da je avtokorelacija v Belgiji prisotna, medtem ko je na Slovaškem nismo zasledili.

Title:Econometric analysis of employment function of Belgium and Slovakia
Abstract:Employment is nowadays an increasingly important macroeconomic component in the economy, as changes in it have the effect on economic activity in a country. The more the economy develops, the higher the employment rate is. In the preceding thesis, we briefly described the characteristics of labour market in Belgium and Slovakia. Then we used the data collected and applied ordinary least squares methos to estimate the linear model, the double logarithmic model, and the linear model including the lagged dependent variable for both countries. Based on the comparative results of the determination coefficients, the Box-Cox test, the RESET test, and the Chow test, the most appropriate model was chosen In both countries, the linear model including lagged dependent variable is most appropriate. At the end of the diploma thesis, we checked the assumptions of ordinary least squares method: normal distributions, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. In the analysis, we found that multicollinearity and homoskedasticity are present in both countries. In further analysis, we found that autocorrelation was present in Belgium, while it was not detected in Slovakia.
