Title:Analiza trajnostnih vidikov v butičnem hotelu x

Abstract:Vsakoletna rast turizma postavlja vedno večja okoljska vprašanja za prihodnost. Turizem ima neposreden vpliv na okolje, v katerem se odvija, zato je toliko bolj pomembno, da se hotelirji zavedajo svojih vplivov z gradnjo in obratovanjem. Največji izziv turistične industrije je danes v globalni ozaveščenosti o negativnih vplivih, ki jih ima turizem na okolje. Sledenje trajnostnemu trendu je tako postalo bistveno za nadaljnje preživetje. Magistrsko delo obravnava trajnostne vidike v butičnem hotelu X, ki služi kot dober primer in zgled na področju trajnosti. Hotel je ekološki način in trajnostne smernice vključil že ob samem začetku obstoja. S preučitvijo vsakodnevnih praks na področju varstva okolja je cilj spodbuditi ljudi in nastanitve za podobno delovanje. Proučevali smo dejansko motivacijo in glavna vodila za takšen način poslovanja. Empirična raziskava obsega študijo primera v butičnem hotelu X, ki zajema okoljske prakse, okoljske kazalnike, primer samoocenjevanja ekološke učinkovitosti in raziskavo z intervjuji. Glavni cilj raziskave je analizirati in odkriti, ali je butični hotel X lahko uspešen poslovni model za izboljšanje stanja v slovenskem turizmu. V raziskavi smo z okoljskimi kazalniki merili okoljsko uspešnost, kar smo še dodatno potrdili z orodjem za izvedbo samoocene na področju okoljske učinkovitosti. Posamezni rezultati treh delov raziskav so podali sintezo ugotovitev, da ima hotel in vsi delujoči v njem izjemno visoko raven okoljske ozaveščenosti, kar lahko predstavlja dober trajnostni model za butični turizem.

Title:Analysis of a sustainability aspects in a boutique hotel x
Abstract:The annual growth of tourism raises growing environmental problems for the future. Tourism has a direct impact on the environment, so it is increasingly important for hoteliers to be aware of their impact through construction and operation. The biggest challenge for the hospitality industry is the global awareness of the negative impact of tourism on the environment. Following the trend towards sustainability has become essential for survival. This master's degree thesis focuses on sustainable aspects in the Boutique Hotel X, which is a good example in the field of sustainability. The hotel has adopted an environmentally friendly methodology and sustainable guidelines from the very beginning. By examining everyday environmental practises, it aims to encourage people and accommodation providers to act in a similar way. We investigated the motivation and key principles of this type of business. The empirical part included a case study of the Boutique Hotel X, including environmental practises, environmental indicators, an eco-efficiency self-assessment tool and research through interviews. The main objective of the research is to analyse and find out whether the Boutique Hotel X can be a successful business model for Slovenian tourism. We measured the environmental performance with environmental indicators, and the positive results were further confirmed by the self-assessment tool for eco-efficiency. The individual results of all three parts of the research showed that the company and its employees have an extremely high level of environmental awareness, which can be a good sustainable model for boutique tourism.
