Abstract:Živimo v času, ko v ospredje vedno bolj prihajajo tehnologije navidezne resničnosti (VR) in obogatene resničnosti (AR) s ciljem uporabniku ponuditi čim globljo igralsko izkušnjo, tako v namene zabave, kot tudi učenja. Cilj te diplomske naloge je razvoj natančnega 3D modela jadralnega letala Glaser-Dirks DG-300, ki bo nato z aplikacijo na očalih Microsoft HoloLens uporabljen kot učno orodje za nove mlade potencialne jadralne pilote. Tem bodo učitelji lahko med predmeti, kot sta gradnja in teorija letenja, demonstrirali uporabnost raznih krmilnih ročic, postavitev kabine in preostale pomembne pojme. Vse to bi bilo mogoče kar najbolj interaktivno, še preden bi dejansko sedli v pravo jadralno letalo.

Title:Development of interactive presentation of glider plane using HoloLens
Abstract:We are currently living in the age where technologies of virtual and augmented reality improve every day and are becoming part of every aspect of everyday life, mostly with a goal to improve gaming experience, but besides that also to improve learning. Goal of this thesis is to create an accurate model of Glaser-Dirks DG-300 glider, which will then be used as a learning tool for young aspiring pilots with the combination of application on Microsoft HoloLens glasses. Teachers will utilize it to increase understanding of cockpit layout, function of different buttons, sticks and other important topics, while learning for their licence. They will gain basic knowledge interactively, before they will ever even seat in the real glider.
