Raziskovalne metode: Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodologijo raziskovanja. S pomočjo pol strukturiranega intervjuja smo intervjuvali 5 zdravljencev. Z metodo odprtega kodiranja smo podatke pregledali in predstavili v tabeli. Med seboj smo jih objektivno primerjali in izpeljali sklepe. Rezultati: Dve osebi sta bile tekom zdravljenja deležni stigmatizacije s strani družinskih članov in okolice ter ena oseba s strani družine. Deležni so nezaupanja, izključevanja, posmehovanja.

Title:STIGMATIZATION OF ALCOHOLICS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN DOMESTIC ENVIRONMENT
Abstract:Starting point and purpose: Alcohol addicts are less often treated as mentally ill, more responsible for their health status, social disapproval, and more negative emotions. Stigma is distributed to patients and their relatives. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the problem of stigmatization of alcohol addicts and their families in the home environment. Research Methods: We used quantitative research methodology. We interviewed 5 practitioners using a semi-structured interview. Using the open-coding method, we examined and presented the data in a table. We have objectively compared them and made conclusions. Results: Two people were stigmatized by family members and their surroundings during treatment, and one by family. All subjects reported experience of post-treatment stigma. They experience stigmatization as loneliness, rejection, distrust. Three people say that their family members, including their children, are stigmatized. Only one family talks about and copes with stigma. Discussion and conclusion: Alcohol addicts experience stigmatization during treatment in their own families and in the environment in which they live. They are mistrusted, excluded, ridiculed. After treatment, they are equally or even more stigmatized. As a result, they are lonely, have poor self-esteem, have a difficult time making contacts and have problems in their jobs. The consequences of stigmatization are also felt by their families, especially children. Families have a hard time coping with the stigma. Few, together with family members, struggle to alleviate the effects of stigma.
