Title:Inoviran model kontinuiranega spremljanja deformacij letaliških vzletno-pristajalnih stez

Abstract:Zahteve po mobilnosti so v današnji družbi zelo visoke. Za učinkovito mobilnost je potrebna tudi gosto razpredena mreža objektov in poti, po katerih se ljudje, blago in informacije lahko premikajo. Vsled tega je zagotavljanje dobro razvite in široko razpredene logistične infrastrukture nujno potrebna. Ključnega pomena je tudi njena kakovost, predvsem zaradi povečanih zahtev po varnosti. Tako razširjenost kot tudi kakovost pa pomembno vplivata na celoten logistični sistem in na mednarodno konkurenčnost. Logistični sistem je učinkovit, če vsi členi v njem delujejo brezhibno. Spremljanje stanja logistične infrastrukture, ki je ključni del logističnega sistema, razvoj modelov za spremljanje stanja logistične infrastrukture in vključevanje teh modelov v sisteme upravljanja transporta so odločilnega pomena. Eden izmed tipov logistične infrastrukture je tudi letališka infrastruktura, njen pomemben del je vzletno pristajalna steza. Vzletno pristajalne steze so izpostavljene vsakodnevnim obremenitvam zaradi pristajanja in vzletanja zrakoplovov ter drugim vplivom iz okolja, ki povzročajo deformiranje steze, zato je potrebno spremljanje njihovega stanja in izvajanje rednega vzdrževanja. Nastale deformacije na površju vzletno pristajalnih stez ovirajo pilotovo upravljanje zrakoplova in predvsem lažjim zrakoplovom povzročajo težave pri pristajanju ali vzletanju. Težave se prav tako kažejo v slabšem oprijemu, neenakomerni obrabi pnevmatik, v delovanju merskih inštrumentov in nemirni vožnji, kar lahko povzroči poškodbe ali celo uničenje zrakoplovov oziroma njihovih delov. V doktorski disertaciji smo se zato najprej osredotočili na raziskovanje kritičnih elementov, ki povzročajo motnje v delovanju logističnega sistema. Podrobneje smo se usmerili na raziskovanje letališke infrastrukture, predvsem z vidika odkrivanja in spremljanja deformacij vzletno pristajalnih stez, in na raziskovanje njihovega vpliva na učinkovitost delovanja logističnega sistema. V ta namen smo v nadaljevanju zasnovali in predlagali procesni model vzdrževanja in model spremljanja vertikalnih odstopanj ter deformacij vzletno pristajalnih stez. Predlagan model temelji na uporabi geodetskih metod. Rezultat modela nam prikaže stanje oziroma poškodovanost vzletno pristajalnih stez. V nadaljevanju smo model povezali in vključili v predlagan sistem upravljanja vzdrževanja. Na ta način lahko upravljavcu letališča in službi, zadolženi za vzdrževanje, zagotovimo podatke, potrebne za ustrezno in pravočasno odločanje o načinu in obsegu izvedbe vzdrževalnih ali obnovitvenih del. Rezultate predlaganega modela, tj. območja vertikalnih odstopanj in deformacij, smo v zaključku doktorske disertacije prikazali z uporabo obogatene resničnosti, ki omogoča prikaz rezultatov v interakciji z resničnim okoljem.

Title:Innovative model for continuous monitoring of runway deformations
Abstract:Mobility demands are very high today. An extensive network of buildings and routes is necessary for the efficient mobility of people, goods and information. Therefore, the establishment of a well-developed and wide-distributed logistics infrastructure is necessary. Its quality is also crucial, mainly due to increased safety demands. The prevalence, as well as quality, has a significant impact on the entire logistics system and international competitiveness. The logistical system is effective if all included elements operate flawlessly; therefore, the monitoring of the state of logistics infrastructure, which is a key part of the logistics system, and the development of models for monitoring the state of logistics infrastructure and the integration of these models in transport management systems, is of crucial importance. The airport infrastructure is also one of the logistics infrastructure types, its important part is the runway. The runways are exposed to daily loads due to the landings and take-offs of the aircraft and other environmental influences causing the deformation of the track; therefore, it is necessary to monitor their conditions and perform regular maintenance. The resulting deformities on the surface of the runway obstruct the pilot's aircraft control especially for lighter aircraft when landing or taking off. The difficulties are manifested in a worse grip, uneven wear of tires, the difficulties in the operation of measurement instruments and restless driving, which can cause injuries or even destruction of aircraft or its parts. In the doctoral thesis, the focus was first on exploring critical elements that cause disruptions in the functioning of the logistics system. Further, the centre of the thesis was on exploring the airport infrastructure, particularly from the point of detecting and monitoring the deformities of the runway and exploring their impact on the effectiveness of the logistics system. For this purpose, a process model of maintenance and a model of monitoring of the vertical deviations and deformities of the runway were designed and proposed. The proposed model is based on the use of geodetic methods. The result of the model gives the image of the condition or damage of the runway. In the following, the model was connected and included in proposed maintenance management systems. Thus, the data which are necessary for the appropriate and timely decision-making about the way and the extent of the maintenance or renovation works are provided for the management of the airport and the maintenance service. Finally, the results of the proposed model, i. e. the areas of vertical deviations and deformities, were presented by using augmented reality, which allows the results to be shown in an interaction with the real environment.
