Title:Recikliranje vode iz laboratorija za trajnostno testiranje pralnih strojev : magistrsko delo

Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo preučili rešitev za zmanjšanje porabe pitne vode v laboratoriju za trajnostno testiranje pralnih strojev, ki temelji na reciklaži odpadne vode, kar je ugodno tako z okoljskega kot ekonomskega vidika. V okviru eksperimentalnega dela smo izvedli mehansko filtracijo z adsorpcijo s štirimi različnimi filtrirnimi materiali (granulirano aktivno oglje – GAC, zeolit, silikat in montanit) in pri treh različnih pretokih (0,5 L/min, 1 L/min in 1,3 L/min). Z analizo fizikalno-kemijskih parametrov smo določili učinkovitost adsorpcijskih materialov za znižanje organskih onesnaževal in vpliv pretoka na učinkovitost čiščenja odpadne vode. Vzorce vode smo analizirali glede na specifične in nespecifične fizikalno-kemijske parametre (temperatura, pH vrednost, prevodnost, KPK, BPK5, TOC, tenzidi). Določili smo organoleptične lastnosti vode (vonj, barva) in mikrobno onesnaženje (skupno število aerobnih bakterij in gliv/plesni pri temperaturi 22 °C ter analizo ATP).

Title:Water recycling from laboratories for endurance testing of washing machines
Abstract:In the master's thesis, we examined the solution for reducing the consumption of drinking water in a laboratory for sustainable testing of washing machines, based on the recycling of the wastewater, which is favourable from the environmental and economic point of view. Within the experimental work, mechanical filtration was performed by adsorption with four different filter materials (granular activated carbon - GAC, zeolite, silicate and montanite) and at three different flow rates (0.5 L/min, 1 L/min and 1.3 L/min). By analysing physicochemical parameters, we determined the efficiency of the adsorption materials for the reduction of organic pollutants and the effect of the flow on the effluent treatment. Water samples were analysed according to specific and non-specific physicochemical parameters (temperature, pH, conductivity, COD, BOD5, TOC, surfactants). The organoleptic properties of water (odour, colour) and microbial contamination (total number of aerobic bacteria and fungi/moulds at 22 °C and ATP analysis) were determined as well.
