Z gospodarskega vidika so kazalniki mednarodne trgovine, kot so trgovinska bilanca, trgovinska odprtost in indeks energetske odvisnosti, podrobneje opredelili mednarodno trgovino določene države.

Title:Comparison of the international trade of the republic of slovenia and the republic of croatia
Abstract:International trade is worth trillions a year and involves the exchange of goods and services between international borders. Any country can produce and export goods and services in which it has a comparative advantage. The benefits of international trade include specialization, economic growth and reduction of global conflict. Barriers to trade can be policy-driven or natural. Policy barriers include tariffs, quotas and product standards. The difference between domestic and international trade is that production factors, such as capital and labor, tend to be more mobile in more than one country. The International Trade "System" encompasses thousands of unilateral, bilateral, regional and multilateral rules and agreements among more than two hundred independent nations. However, it should be borne in mind that the construction of a logistics network does not mean the development of international trade unless further development is devised. The use of logistics intermediaries also enables better product availability to the target market. The empirical part of the paper analyzes the international trade of goods of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia from 2010 to 2017. In addition to the level of international trade, other indicators are used, such as trade balance, openness to trade and energy dependence indices. Using the scientific-research methods, the acquired synthesis of data and selected factors affecting Slovenian and Croatian international trade were examined. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a place for improvement of all analyzed areas of Croatian and Slovenian trade, but Slovenia is more developed, is better, in all considered areas than Croatia.
