Abstract:V magistrskem delu je opisana vzpostavitev sistema za merjenje povišane koncentracije plinov v prostoru. Izvedene so tudi eksperimentalne meritve senzorjev v različnih situacijah. Uporabljeni so nizkocenovni elektrokemijski senzorji serije MQ, na katere pogosto naletimo v komercialni rabi. Sposobni so zaznati pline kot so: ogljikov monoksid, metan, utekočinjen naftni plin ter še vrsto drugih. Merilni sistem je osnovan na ploščici Arduino Uno, povezljivost z Internet of Things tehnologijo pa zagotavlja razširitveni WiFi modul. Le-ta uporabniku omogoča vpogled v trenutne vrednosti senzorjev kjer koli na svetu. Hkrati pa takšen sistem uporabnika obvešča o morebitni povišani koncentraciji plinov na vrsto različnih načinov.

Title:Gas detection with implemented Internet of Things connectivity
Abstract:This thesis describes the installation of a system that measures increased gas concentrations. In addition, sensors were also tested in various different situations. We used low-cost electrochemical MQ series sensors, commonly used in commercial devices, throughout testing. They can detect gases such as carbon monoxide, methane, liquefied petroleum gas among others. The measuring system is based on the Arduino Uno board and connectivity to the Internet of Things technology is provided by the expandable WiFi module. It allows the user to see the current values of the sensors anywhere in the world. The system informs the user of possible exceedances of gas concentrations at the at the same time in a variety of ways.
