Abstract:V magistrskem delu je zajeta predstavitev dela, in sicer od ideje oziroma namena do končnega izdelka, t. i. laboratorijskega transportnega sistema. Predstavljeni sta zasnova in avtomatizacija virtualnega transportnega sistema v programu Factory I/O ter zasnova, izdelava in avtomatizacija realnega transportnega sistema. Električni del sistema sestavljajo električna krmilna omara, priklop aktuatorjev in senzorjev.

Title:Design, implementation and automation of the laboratory transport system
Abstract:This master thesis describes the procedure of developing laboratory transport system from idea to the final product. First, we present the development and automatization of virtual transport system, modelled in a virtual environment Factory I/O. Second, the same procedure is used to present the actual transport system. Automatization in Factory I/O is accomplished using hardware-in-the-loop, by which the actual programmable logic controller (PLC) is connected to the 3D virtual environment to simulate the transport system. Control algorithm is implemented on the actual PLC, which controls the simulated process. The realisation of the actual system is based upon design, construction and production of transport system, focusing on the mechanical part. Electrical part of the system consists out of electronics control panel, actuator wiring and sensors. Programmable logic controller Siemens S7-1200 is used for running the control algorithm of formerly developed virtual transport system in program Factory I/O. Changing of the parameters can be executed via Siemens touchscreen module TP 1500 Comfort. To detect crates, Siemens RFID system is used.
