Abstract:S terapevtsko hipotermijo oziroma ciljnim uravnavanjem telesne temperature skušamo pri pacientih po srčnem zastoju preprečiti ishemično možgansko okvaro in tako posledično vplivati na kvaliteto življenja po srčnem zastoju. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti učinkovitost uravnavanja telesne temperature z ezofagealno hladilno sondo v primerjavi z drugimi načini ohlajanja pacienta po uspešnem oživljanju.

Title:Temperature management with esophageal cooling device after cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Abstract:With therapeutic hypothermia or targeted temperature management, we try to prevent brain damage in patients after cardiac arrest and affect on the quality of life after cardiac arrest. The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of the esophageal cooling device for temperature control during targeted temperature management, compared to other methods of temperature control for adult survivors of cardiac arrest.
