Abstract:Izhodišča: Sedeče delo medicinskih sester na primarni ravni zdravstvenega varstva je vse bolj pereč problem, saj sedeče delo negativno vpliva skoraj na celo telo. Raziskovalne metode: Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodologijo raziskovanja. Anketni vprašalnik je bil naš raziskovalni instrument. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 50 študentov 3. letnika smer Zdravstvena nega izbrane fakultete. Podatke smo s pomočjo programa Microsoft Office Excel analizirali in obdelali.

Title:Students opinions on sedentary work of nurses at the primary level
Abstract:Introduction: Sedentary work of nurses at primary healthcare is an increasing issue which negatively affects the whole body. The purpose of our diploma is to present the sedentary work of nurses at primary level of healthcare and the ergonomic principles of sedentary work and to determine whether students are aware of the negative effects of sitting work. Research methods: We used a quantitative research methodology. The survey questionnaire was our research instrument. The research involved 50 3rd year students from the nursing degree oft he selected faculty. Data were analyzed and processed using Microsoft Office Excel. Descriptive statistics were used for interpretation. Results: We found that as many as 54 % of students believe that nurses spend 5-7 hours at the primary level, that most use a computer in their work, which they consider to bea n 84 % risk factor for vision problems. The most common effects of prolonged sitting include back pain (94 %), neck pain (88%) and vision problems (60 %).Students would prevent problems by taking an active break, which includs changing their position and performing office exercises, using an ergonomic accesories. Discussion and Conclusion: Primary care nurses were found to be sedentary most of the working time, which had a negative effect on their health. It is important for nurses to be trained in ergonomic approaches and to use ergonomic aids.
