Z uvedbo brezpapirnega informacijskega sistema skušamo poenostaviti in pospešiti dostop do informacije.

Title:Customer satisfaction with information system the Think!Med Clinical
Abstract:ABSTRACT In the age of information technology, information is crucial in companies as well as in healthcare. The information must have quality, be accessible, on time and available for all those, who need it. With the introduction of the paperless information system we are trying to simplify and accelerate the access to information. Whether the information will be on time, relevant and available enough depends on the information system. The data the clinical information system can provide to the user in a given moment is very important for further treatment. More data, different possibilities of recording, records, collected in one place and the connection between different systems lead to quality and fast healthcare. In hospitals, we are facing more and more different clinical information systems. Our research took place at the Clinical department of paediatric surgery and intensive care in the University medical centre Ljubljana, where we started to introduce the clinical information system Think!Med in 2009 and since 2017 this is the first paperless hospital. In the research we wanted to present the clinical information system Think!Med Clinical and consequently determine the satisfaction of those, who use it. We found that older nurses provided less positive evaluations of the functionality and flexibility of Think!Med, which we are connecting with the education of employees in terms of computer literacy. The work with patients is not limited due to increased use of the computer system. Statistically it is not reliable, that the information is fast and easy accessible, since there are certain limitations in connection with other clinical information systems. The information system Think!Med Clinical mostly meets the needs of different users, but also shows some weaknesses, identified in the research. There is particularly the desire of employees for an e-temperature graphical list, which would replace the temperature list in paper format and enable fast review of the searched parameters. There is also the need for a connection of different clinical information systems. Electronic records enable more quality records in long-term, a comprehensive overview, chronologic overviews, possibilities for comparisons and thus the possibility for further development of the professions and different possibilities for research purposes.
