Title:Vsebnost aflatoksinov b1, b2, g1, g2 v živilih in krmi med leti 2010 in 2016 v Sloveniji

Abstract:Aflatoksini so najpogostejša in najbolj raziskana skupina mikotoksinov. Kljub strogim EU zakonodajnim omejitvam za aflatoksine v krmi za živali in v živilih bi se zaradi podnebnih sprememb še zmeraj lahko zgodilo, da se pojavijo na trgu tudi onesnažena živila in krma. Aflatoksini se lahko pojavijo v surovinah in živilih, so genotoksični in rakotvorni ter ogrožajo zdravje ljudi in živali. Namen naše raziskave je bil preučiti prisotnost aflatoksinov B1, B2, G1 in G2 v vzorcih hrane in krme na slovenskem trgu med letoma 2010 in 2016. Skupaj je bilo analiziranih 1322 vzorcev živil in 445 vzorcev krme, pri katerih je 2 % vzorcev hrane (najpogosteje arašidov) in 4 % vzorcev krme (najpogosteje koruza) presegalo EU mejne vrednosti. Večina vzorcev drastično ne odstopa od mejnih vrednosti iz Uredbe EU. Sklepamo lahko, da je zaskrbljenost za zdravje potrošnikov v zvezi z izpostavljenostjo živil aflatoksinom minimalna.

Title:Occurrence of aflatoxins b1, b2, g1, g2 in food and feed samples in slovenia between 2010 and 2016.
Abstract:Aflatoxins are the most common and most researched group of mycotoxins. Despite stringent EU legislative restrictions on aflatoxins in animal feed and food, contaminated food and feed may still occur on the market. Reasons for contamination can be found in climate change. Aflatoxins that can occur in raw materials and foods, are genotoxic and carcinogenic and pose a threat to human and animal health. The aim of our study was to examine the presence of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 in foods and feed samples from the Slovenian market between the years 2010 and 2016. Altogether, 1322 food samples and 445 feed samples were analysed, where 2% of food samples (most often peanuts) and 4% of feed samples (most often corn feeder) were exceeding the limit values. The majority of samples did not deviate from the EU regulation limit values. It could be concluded, that concern for consumers' health regarding the exposure of aflatoxins by foodstuffs, is minimal.
